Police are warning car owners not to leave valuables in their cars after a spate of break-ins in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Several cars have been broken into recently, with stereos, sat navs and even a set of car keys being stolen.
The warning comes as police in West Swindon urge homeowners to take precautions to stop themselves becoming victims of a gang that has struck a number of times since Christmas. The gang had looted 17 cars and it is uncertain whether the incidents there and in Royal Wootton Basset are related.
Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you have any information regarding these thefts.
